Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to Hotel Massimino in the charming town of Anguillara Sabazia, I found a delightful intersection of comfort and hospitality that perfectly complemented my archaeological excursions in the region. The spacious, air-conditioned room featured a handy kettle and a private bathroom stocked with quality toiletries-ideal for unwinding after a long day of exploration. The free shuttle service to the nearby railway station was a game-changer for us, allowing easy access to both the beauty of Lake Bracciano and the rich history of Rome with convenience that I appreciated deeply as a traveler. Each morning began with a generous buffet breakfast that fueled our adventurous spirits, and the attentiveness of the family-run staff made us feel right at home-Gianluca and the team were always on hand to share local insights and ensure our experience was seamless. A lovely little touch was the inviting atmosphere throughout the hotel, from the convivial lounge to the picturesque outdoor seating area, which invited us to enjoy after-dinner drinks together. If you're looking for a hotel that marries the charm of Italy with excellent amenities, Hotel Massimino should definitely be on your radar. I can't wait to return!
